Issue 2: Flash Nonfiction
I used to think the rattling and mumbling in my head was a train. Manifest Destiny. Everything I could do and would do is justified and inevitable. Insurmountable. But then I hurt people. Belittled and manipulated them. I realized quickly every train stops and people don’t give a damn about trains.
Tanner Armatis is soon to finish his Bachelors degree in English and Creative Writing at Colorado State University, where he will get his teaching license. He has no publication history, but held an internship as a reader at the North American Review.
